Primary visual reference: dark nighttime atmosphere, compact personal-web structure, teal signals, and panel-aware rain. The site uses an independent implementation and imports none of Dimden's code or assets.

Conceptual reference for expressing mood on separate pleasantness and energy axes. Julian's compact mood field is an original implementation, uses no copied source or artwork, and starts honestly at NO SIGNAL until Julian files an update.

Current Oneonta conditions, sunrise/sunset, and lunar data come from the Open-Meteo API ↗. Requests need no API key, are cached briefly in the visitor's browser, and fail back to the site's ordinary atmosphere.

The main stack follows Dimden's body typography: local MS UI Gothic first, with Web437 NEC APC3 regular and Web437 Nix8810 M16 bold fallbacks by VileR from The Ultimate Oldschool PC Font Pack. The bundled webfonts are licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0 ↗; original project ↗.

The current song uses Apple's official third-party player. Playback is user-started, and Apple controls preview, sign-in, and regional availability.
Assets
The local SVG fixtures, buttons, banner, visual textures, four original time-of-day landscape variations, and Julian pixel-cat sprite sheet were made for this project unless an individual item says otherwise. MP3 files under Julian's Beat archive are Julian's supplied music exports. Comic cover images are the published artwork cached by Julian's local YACReader library and are shown only to identify their corresponding issues; their artwork remains owned by the respective publishers and creators. The `trimley` and `KickAss (Pull Up Pls)` covers are the artworks published with their linked Apple Music pages. Future credited assets must retain their required attribution.
